Troubleshooting

Leakage around the legs?

  1. Check nappy and liner are tucked in correctly and the wrap covers the nappy adequately.
  2. Does the nappy need changing? We recommend changing every 2½ to 4 hours but no two babies are alike, some may need changing more often than others.

Leakage at the tummy?

  1. See leakage at the legs
  2. Is the wrap the correct size? The sizes on wraps are only a guide and the shape of the child can mean that some kinds are a better fit than others.
  3. Is your child a boy? Your baby's penis should be pointing down into the nappy. If it points upwards he will end up with a wet vest.

Leakage through the body of the wrap?

This can happen if your wraps are quite old or you bought them second hand. Tumble-drying can weaken the waterproofing so is best avoided to prolong their life.

Remember reusable nappies should not leak more than disposables so if you have a problem please ask your supplier for advice.
